WEDNESDAY BOOK CLUB
Wednesday book group meets the third Wednesday of the month at 10:00am. We rotate meeting at each other’s homes. The group generally chooses a book together. We read a variety of books.

Great food whipped up by a couple of SWAN members at our homes. We take turns. Always great fun!

BUNCO
DAYTIME BUNCO
Daytime Bunco meets at 10AM to Noon on the 3rd Monday of the month in member's homes. It is a fun morning of rolling the dice and rotating tables and chatting with friends. It is an easy game to learn for those who haven't played before. The hostess for each month is asked to provide snacks and beverages. Each hostess can decide on extending the time to include lunch. Those wishing to stay for lunch can bring a salad or dessert to share.

EVENING BUNCO
Let's Roll! Evening bunco is a great opportunity for a night out filled with lots of laughs and a chance to win some spare change! An easy dice game to learn, it takes only minutes, that promises to bring people together for conversation, food, and fun! We start around 7pm and play for a couple of hours and take turns hosting the evening event every third Wednesday of the month.TOP

EVENING MOVIE GROUP
Love the silver screen? Need a "time out" from your daily routines? Yearning for a quick, inexpensive escape? Join other S.W.A.N. members at the movies! The Movie Club meets at least once a month, depending on what is showing in the metro area. Times vary as well -- matinees or early evening shows. Add your name to the list and join us when you can; meet new friends who share a common interest!

EVENING FINE DINING
Meets every other month, November, January, March and May. We select a restaurant of various types, and gather to enjoy a wonderful meal out with our SWAN friends. John and Mary Jean have an interest in food and fine dining, and frequently dine out – so they suggest restaurants that they feel a sure to please and atmospheres where larger groups of diners can enjoy each others company and enjoy the pleasure of good food and friends. This fall we went to the King and I Thai in downtown Minneapolis, January we will visit Café Lurcat in downtown Minneapolis, we also plan a trip to Bar Abilene in Uptown, and perhaps one restaurant in the Spring in St. Paul which is yet to be determined

MAH JONGG
Mah jongg is an ancient Chinese game that has been Americanized and played all over the USA for years.The game is played in groups of 4 players using tiles and a playing card that guides us to groups of tiles that can be put together to form a “Mah Jongg.” We’re a very friendly group that enjoys socializing while we play. Would you like to learn? We’ll teach you! You’ll be playing the very first day. . . because our SWAN members all know what it’s like to be a beginner. . . and we’re all VERY helpful.

BRIDGE LADIES DAYTIME
The group is open to all levels of Bridge players. Reservations must be made.

DAYTIME DUPLICATE

COUPLES DUPLICATE
Couples Duplicate meets on the 1st Saturday of each month. This is a social game of duplicate so don't feel you have to be an expert to play! We are seeking new members so please call and join us. It is a great way to increase your knowledge of the game and meet new friends.

WEEKEND SOCIAL
A great opportunity to mix new members with established members easily. Significant others are included and families are welcome when the activity is conducive. Two annual events anchor this committee. The holiday party (usually held in December) and a wine tasting in the spring. Other activities sprout from current events and interests of the S.W.A.N. group throughout the year. The more the merrier!

COFFEE ON THE LAKE EXCELSIOR
Meet us at the Dunn Bros. in Excelsior. A charming place to meet and enjoy each others company. Good coffee and excellant treats. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 9:30 until??

JUST COFFEE... EDEN PRAIRIE
The EP Coffee meets once a week, the last Thursday of the month, at 9:30a.m.. We meet at Dunn Brothers, 8107 Eden Prairie Rd (in the little old red house). It's a convenient location for more of the South and East members, since it is located in Eden Prairie, close to Chanhassen and not too far from Chaska. All are welcomed.

PLAYGROUP
If you are new to the area with young children, come to playgroup for a chance to meet other moms and children. A great opportunity to meet and chat and for the kids to get some energy out. We meet every Thursday at 10am at members' homes.

STITCH 'N TIME
Please join us. for a morning of refreshments, conversation and even sewing on scout patches or real stitching. Just bring what you are working on. We meet once a month for approximately two hours. We have coffee/catch-up/chat time for about 30 minutes and then chat some more while we work on personal projects. No expertise required.
